Tree Health Care: Soil Care & Tree Nutrition

Fall is an excellent time to improve your trees growing environment.

Did you know that there are at least 20 different elements that are essential to trees and plants? Although each element is beneficial in a specific way, the most important elements are often recognized as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). Very often in our area many of these vital nutrients are deficient or are unavailable for plant uptake. Deep root feeding is the most effective method of correcting these deficiencies because a high quality nutrient solution is injected directly into the root zone where uptake occurs. Our liquid ‘Arborbrew’ is designed to supplement soils which are lacking elements and more importantly allow the tree’s roots to unlock and utilize nutrients currently in the soil and apply it to functions such as root development and disease resistance. Furthermore, the readily available nutrients can now be stored in the roots and will be immediately available for new spring growth. It is important to implement a routine ‘Soil Care’ program not only for growth purposes, but for the overall health and stamina of your trees and shrubs. If ‘Arborbrew’ is not already a part of your routine program; we would be happy to discuss the benefits in detail with you and create a customized ‘Soil Care’ plan for your landscape.
