As a continued effort to bring our clients responsible tree care, K. C. Arborist is proud to be the first tree care
company in Kansas to have Certified Tree Care Professionals (CTSP) on staff. Owner, Brandon Hendrickson and
account manager Jeff Sifrit earned their CTSP credentials while attending the TCIA national convention in
Baltimore, Maryland, November 2nd-6th. As the world’s largest tree care industry trade show and conference,
the expo offers a variety of cutting edge educational workshops and provides valuable networking opportunities
with vendors, manufacturers and colleagues. The Certified Tree Care Safety Professional training program teaches
companies strategies and tactics to help improve their safety culture. By developing a consistent safety program
our company can maintain fewer accidents, injuries, and associated costs. According to the Tree Care Industry
Association (TCIA) survey, a tree care company with a CTSP employee on staff was ten times less likely to
experience a lost work day due to an employee accident. The survey also stated those companies were four times
less likely to incur a serious job site accident requiring medical attention beyond treatment in the field. K.C.
